On April 7th, 2015, Springfield, Missouri, voters repealed non-discrimination protections from individuals based on sexual orientation and gender identity by a narrow margin. This has left members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community vulnerable to discriminatory hiring/firing, denial of housing and refusal of service.

In response, we began a campaign of positive action to identify and promote LGBT-friendly local businesses in Springfield, MO through an online directory and window decals.

Consumers

Know that the business or organization proudly displaying the “We Are Inclusive”¬†sticker provides ALL services and public accommodations to ALL qualified patrons, and practices non-discriminatory employment.

Businesses and Organizations

If you live up to these standards and would like to display a sticker and/or be listed on the directory, please register here. In doing so, you will show your support for the local LGBT community and your business will also be added to a statewide list of businesses housed through PROMO at www.MoWorkplaceEquality.com.
